Our Plans to Move People Faster and Farther
Keep SA Moving projects are designed to:
- Improve frequency and accessibility of existing service.
- Optimize travel for everyone who shares the streets.
- Encourage economic mobility and development by connecting people to job centers and essential services.
Introducing the Region's First Rapid Transit Option
VIA Rapid is a modern Advanced Rapid Transit (ART) system designed to deliver fast, reliable service using advanced buses, priority lanes, and smart traffic signals.
VIA Rapid will offer the benefits of light rail at a fraction of the cost and construction time, transforming and connecting key corridors with infrastructure improvements to enhance travel and safety for everyone who uses it.
Welcome to State-of-the-ART Transit
Moving North-to-South
The VIA Rapid Green Line will run north-south along San Pedro Avenue from the San Antonio International Airport, through Downtown, to the historic missions area. Continuing service will provide connections to Brooks Transit Center.
Moving East-to-West
The proposed VIA Rapid Silver Line corridor will run east-west from the Frost Bank Center on the East side to Our Lady of the Lake University on the West side. Continuing service will provide connections to the Kel-Lac Transit Center and the planned Eastside Transit Center.
Linking People With On-Demand Service
VIA Link uses passenger vans to expand service in designated zones where buses aren’t available, there are fewer riders, or wait times are prohibitively long.
